Keisha Aozora on 27 things in life:
1. Personality. I don't believe personality is the true self. It might relate to the true self, but personalit is only persona - a mask. People always say I look profoundly strong and independent. Really? I doubt that. Maybe it's just my haircut.
2. Strength. What is strength to you? For me it is not being the most healthy of all, but being in pain over and over again, but recover and able to do things like the healthiest fucker in the world. Strength also means fulfilling your promises, especially the ones you say to yourself.
3. Mood. A character in my favorite book said we ain't got time for that. I agree. Mood is not a good reason to start or stop working on things. I'm still working on it.
4. Coffee. My brain is so triggered by coffee. I don't generalize myself with everybody else, but it's better not to have coffee than to have a bad one.
5. Woman. I admire women. I watch their body languages, glare at their smiles, and I feel that women are such magic. Maybe it's not the gender, but the femininity. Oh, look at J.K Rowling, Audrey Hepburn, Frida Kahlo, or your mom.
6. Teaching. Teaching is impossible. Only learning is possible. I quoted that from one of my favorite author, Osho. I teach whenever I meet learners. My students are more significant than me, and they are very precious. If you are a jerk, please, choose another profession. Don't teach.
7. Ethnicity. I'm a proud Asian. Tell me I'm a fool, I don't care. It feels really good to be Asian, to be used to dive deeper inward than explore outward. Travelling is important. But to have adventure with your inner spirit is - more important.
8. Family. I'm rooted. I snuggle with my family like a puppy no matter what have happened through out our life. I talk with them. We sit and talk. I am grateful to be in my family.
9. Hope. I think hope arises from experience, and not vice versa. I hope to help more people, because I have experienced helping and that feels really good. You hope to be rich, because you have tasted it. When I was obese I didn't hope to be skinny. I just hope to be beautiful. Without my knowledge, because I was already beautiful. But people told me I was not.
10. Thinking. Think for yourself. For God's sake, think for yourself. You can not rely on others opinion, I see my acquintances and most of the people just say "Amen!" to every information and thoughts they hear. It's definitely chaotic, but they feel it's a normal life.
